Resume and Cover Letter

These documents must be one page only and must be written for a specific and current job posting (even if you are not currently seeking employment). You might respond to a job posting on the internet or in a newspaper. Review the guidelines offered in the Career Services booklet, the coursepack, and the Portable Technical Writer as you prepare these documents.  You should also consult the Career Services web page at http://www.rci.rutgers.edu/~cswebpg/.

For more advice on resumes, check out the information available on the web. One good site is Yana Parker's Damn Good Resume Site (based on a book which we used to use in our courses).
